First of all, thank you so much for coming back to check on some of the chaos that goes on in my world. I know that towards the end here i sorta trailed off from posting and yet you still came back and checked anyways. Sorry about that... and i hope to make it up to you next year with twice or three times the number with a broader range of topics. I know that it actually had been mostly random tidbits that caught my eye, but i plan to get into more things that directly effect my life such as the goings on of being a parent-father. So stay tuned! Along with more of the random stuff mixed with some personal journal entries i hope that it gets you to come back and check out the chaos that is my Delirium every now and then.
Second of all, i want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! The hope that i hold for myself and my family in the new year is the same hope i have for you and yours, and that is simply good health, an endless bounty of happiness, and safe travels. There is so much that I'm so thankful for (feel very blessed really) looking back on 2008. It was absolutely a historically exciting crazy roller coaster year! Fortunately we came out of it relatively unscathed and we look forward to the good times and good things forthcoming.
Thanks again and see you next year!

OMG! More and more Cars! It's insane but i must have them!

I've been collecting different kinds of toys since my kids were born, but the one toy i've collected to this point...the one that i've gone from store to store during my lunch, always checked for in the toy aisle, willing to find on eBay, and/or call my sister in Texas to check her local stores are these little Hot Wheel looking diecast cars from the movie Cars. It's crazy i know but it's been fun and exciting at the same time! New cars keep coming out and there is no sign of letting up, Cars 2 is coming out in 2011...so the sky is the limit.

Top 10 80’s Cartoons | The Best Article Every day

Watched 6 of the 10! I'm disappointed that Dungeons and Dragons, Robotech, and Popeye didn't make the list.

Sorry about being M.I.A from the Delirium
There has been so much going on since the last time i posted something new. I had been pretty tied up performing the duties of our fantasy football league's commissioner, i took the family to Orlando and Disney World for my cousin's wedding, and i've just been trying to contain medium sized fires that have been suddenly popping up. The fires aren't your touch it and get burned fires, rather the kind of problems and annoying 'just part of life' fires we deal with day in and day out. I described my fires as medium because they took some time to put out. Well, one of them isn't completely out yet as the case of the water leak from one of my pipes within my first floor bathroom ceiling and wall we discovered after we got back from vacation. Thankfully the plumber i got was able to fix the leak but not without having to tear out sections of my ceiling and wall first to get to it. It's been a week now and i'm still waiting on the drywall and paint guys to connect with me. They are guys that my HOA put in for since they are taking responsibility for the expense.
Anyhow... with all that has happened maybe the chaos (or delirium) is receding and now i can get back to more important fun stuff like blogging. Well, i guess you can say without the delirium that i go through there wouldn't be Del's Delirium, eh? Thanks for sticking with me and thanks for all your patience! Expect more postings in the next couple days to weeks.

Remember Jaime from the Real World San Diego?

You go girl! It's so cool to see good things happen to good people! Apparently she's had more than several small acting gigs in the last couple of years since Real World. Now her star is shooting way up with her role as Heaven in Samurai Girl, and the upcoming Summer release of Dragonball. She'll be playing Chi Chi.Before our trip the wife and I had a chance to catch the premiere of Samurai Girl on ABC Family. It was a mini series premiere event that was spread out over three days in two hour a day increments. Overall the series was good but not great. The setting was supposed to be in the San Francisco Bay Area but being a Bay Area resident it was obvious to me that it was filmed out in Vancouver B.C. There have been various movies and TV shows supposedly set in San Francisco over the years but because of local laws and ordinances Hollywood has used Vancouver as it's stand in. So, anyhow... the only gripe i have is not where it was filmed, rather the usefullness of some scenes. I felt that some scenes were not necessary and didn't add anything to the overall story. The story itself is OK and the acting is decent but it is still worth a gander. I actually hope it becomes a regular TV series. Jaime Chung is refreshing, beautiful, and an overall good girl. She's Asian too! And i love to see Asians break glass ceilings and breakout onto the American mainstream.

Thanks for the Golden Memories Beijing!

Four years can't come soon enough when you enjoy the Olympics this year like i have. One of the things that i wish i can old back though is 'Father Time'. Being four years older by the next time these games are back on our paper thin digi-screens in Hi-Def no less is sorta depressing. A lot can happen in four years like celebrating your 1st year wedding anniversary, moving into a new home, feeling excited in anticipation of the birth of your first child, etc. Some of us have heard the age old question, especially while interviewing for a new job, "Where do you see yourself in five years?" Well, as it relates to the Olympics "where does one see themselves in four?"
