McDonalds must have received wind of the two new toy collecting obsessions that i have for my kids. Uh yeah! It goes beyond the Happy Meal i'm afraid. When i was a kid i collected baseball cards, Hot Wheels, GI Joe and Star Wars figures. I even had some old school Transformer toys. I never had the means to complete any of my collections. Most times it wasn't about having enough money to buy them it was because they would fall victim to the rigorous and extreme play of yours truly. As an adult i sometimes wonder what ever became of the toys i had when i was a kid. Part of me wishes that i still had my small collection so that i could either pass them to my kid for safe keeping or for his playtime adventures. I try to let my little guy play with the toys i collect for him, but i do make every attempt to keep track of them all so that he doesn't lose them , forget about them, or completely destroy them. And yes! I do try to complete sets for him sometimes getting two of everything. I get one for him to play with and one to keep unopened as in the case with the little die cast Disney Cars i collect. The Littlest Pet Shop is the one and only thing i started for my little girl but i'm sure there will be more as she gets older.

you are wasting your money...not only that you are accumulating junk that you have to transport for your next move. not only that, think of all the natural resources being wasted when one of these plastic toys are made. Buy some lincoln logs they're better for the environment - and they are more educational...
;-P LOL
I say you start collecting JEM memorabilia for Erielle. You know... Jem and the Holagrams??? That was soo awesome. I was at work the other day and we were recounting all of our old school cartoon favorites. I want to go home, buy all of them on DVD and have a DVD-a-thon!
Oh and this is Judy in case you didn't know!
